What's new: API and security upgrades, a new site, and more

A roundup of recent improvements: active session management and login protection, new API capabilities, deep links to insights, invite tracking, and a refreshed website.

A roundup of improvements we've shipped across the platform recently, from account security to new ways to work with the Versive API.

More you can do with the API

We introduced the Versive API earlier this year so you can build research workflows programmatically. A few additions since then:

  • Attach assets to questions: upload images and other assets to your questions directly through the API, so studies created programmatically can be as rich as ones built in the app.
  • Trigger study translations: kick off translation of a study from the API, making it easier to run multilingual research at scale.
  • Choose speed or depth: when building studies through the API, you can now opt for faster responses or more thorough ones, depending on what your workflow needs.

Stronger account security

Two updates that matter especially for teams handling sensitive research:

  • Active session management: you can now see where your account is signed in and sign out of any session you don't recognize. If you've ever logged in on a shared or borrowed device, you can revoke that access in a click.
  • Login protection: we added safeguards against repeated failed login attempts, so your account is better protected against password-guessing.

Jump straight to the insight that matters

Insights are now deep-linkable. You can link directly to a specific question's insights and share that exact view with a teammate or stakeholder, instead of pointing them at a study and explaining where to look.

Track your outreach

For teams using Email Outreach to invite participants, you can now track invites you've sent, so you know what went out and can follow up with confidence. We also added each participant's unique link to CSV exports, making it easier to manage and reference links outside of Versive.

Richer study text

You can now add hyperlinks to the text in your studies, useful for linking out to a prototype, a reference, or context you want participants to have before they answer.

A refreshed website

Finally, we gave getversive.com a refresh: a redesigned homepage along with new product and solution pages that better explain what Versive can do. Take a look.
